Always reliable, professional, and responsible. We've worked with Chester, Clint, and others at C. H. Ervin Electric for 20+ years and wouldn't hire anyone else. From small fixes to rewiring a house, they have done it all for us.

A storm knocked a branch on to the power lines going to the house and pulled the riser from the house. The next day half our house lost power for up to 45 minutes several times that day. C H Ervin came out asked me what I knew checked the inside and out and said that one of the power wires appears to have been loosened from the house causing arcing so when it gets too hot that power cuts off to half the house. He took a few minutes and gave me a quote of $1215 for labor, parts and permits. I had received a quote the previous day for $9000. The other guy wanted to replace the inside panel, fuses, add 2nd ground wire and put in a special outdoor box. The next day at 8:30 C. H. Ervin was at the house and the work was done before noon. The Inspector approved the work shortly after they left. Duke had not restored the power and when I emailed the office they said they would contact them. Within a couple of hours Duke reconnected the power and since then everything has been fine. The office communicated with me promptly and always followed through and everything they said. I couldn't be more pleased with the electrical work recently completed at my home in Asheville by Clint Ervin. From start to finish, the entire experience was outstanding. The team was professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. All work was completed at a very fair and reasonable price. The attention to detail and quality of workmanship truly stood out. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of electrical services.

Clint was great, came on short notice and installed an interlock kit and power inlet box so we could hook up our generator a day before a winter storm. Would highly recommend.

I recently hired C.H. Ervin Electric to add an outlet and a light to our newly built deck, and I couldn’t be more pleased with their work. They also took care of raising the power line coming into our house to 11 feet above the deck, as required by the building code. The team was exceptionally easy to work with—always responsive to my questions and very professional throughout the entire process. They handled all the necessary permitting with the city, making everything smooth and seamless. I highly recommend C.H. Ervin Electric for any electrical needs!
